This resource for precalculus students presents in complete and concise detail the proofs for the “laws of logarithms.” In addition, 22 further theorems are proved on the basis of the fundamental laws. Finally, the seven most common errors in applying the laws are shown to indeed be errors by the contradictions their use leads to. The author has taken great care to not skip algebraic steps in the proofs.
