The “How to Sparkle at…” series contains photocopiable activities to support five to seven-year-olds working at the National Curriculum Key Stage 1 and Scottish National 5-14 Guidelines, levels A and B, and covers a broad range of the work involved in these. The books have clear black line illustrations, easy to use layout, and straightforward language to make them easy to read and understand. “How to Sparkle at Maths Fun” has been written by a practising teacher who appreciates the need to inspire work from children by stimulating their minds and holding their attention. The book contains over 40 photocopiable sheets based around the theme of jungle animals, with familiar characters leading the children through their learning in three sections: hands-on practical activities, work-alone activities and games. The exercises are suitable to be used independently of each other, as a “dip-in” resource, or a selection can be taken to form activity booklets to be worked on independently.
